Key Responsibilities:

- Perform assembly and fitting of AC and DC motors as per drawings and work instructions.
- Carry out dismantling and reassembly of motors during repair and maintenance activities.
- Fit and replace components such as bearings, shafts, end shields, fans, couplings, seals, and other mechanical parts.
- Perform rotor/stator assembly, bearing fitting, shaft fitting, and end-cover assembly.
- Check and maintain proper shaft alignment, air gap, clearances, and mechanical fitment.
- Use measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, dial gauge, bore gauge, and feeler gauge.
- Identify mechanical defects such as abnormal noise, vibration, bearing damage, shaft wear, and misalignment.
- Assist in motor balancing, alignment, and mechanical inspection activities.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and basic electrical motor specifications.





Skills Required:

- Good hands-on knowledge of AC & DC motor construction and assembly.
- Knowledge of motor components such as stator, rotor, armature, commutator, bearings, shaft, fan, terminal box, and end shields.
- Knowledge of bearing installation and removal techniques.
- Basic knowledge of shaft alignment and dial gauge measurement.
- Ability to identify mechanical problems in rotating equipment.
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used for motor fitting.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and understand tolerances.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
