About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Shopify Web Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performing Shopify stores. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Shopify theme customization, Liquid templating, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), with a strong understanding of e-commerce UX and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Build, customize, and launch Shopify e-commerce websites from scratch or based on existing themes.

Develop and modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).

Implement responsive, mobile-first designs ensuring cross-browser compatibility and fast load times.

Configure and manage Shopify store settings: products, collections, navigation, filters, payment gateways, and shipping.

Integrate third-party apps, plugins, and APIs (e.g., analytics, CRM, ERP, marketing tools).

Optimize stores for SEO, Core Web Vitals, and conversion rate (CRO best practices).

Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and theme-related issues (bugs, performance, UX).

Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content teams to implement UI/UX changes and recent features.

Maintain version control using Git and follow basic CI/CD workflows (optional for juniors).

Required Skills & Qualifications





0–5 years of professional experience in web development, with at least 1–3 years focused on Shopify (internships/projects count for freshers).

Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, theme architecture, and Online Store 2.0 features.

Solid command of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript (DOM manipulation, async JS, basic APIs).

Experience customizing Shopify themes, sections, and templates; familiarity with metafields/metaobjects is a plus.

Understanding of e-commerce UX, responsive design, and performance optimization.

Basic knowledge of Git, browser dev tools, and debugging techniques.

Good communication skills (English; Marathi/Hindi is a plus for internal coordination).

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

Exposure to Shopify Plus, Checkout Extensibility, or headless concepts (Storefront API, Hydrogen/React).

Experience with B2B features, multi-currency, or Shopify Markets.

Familiarity with WordPress/PHP, GA4, or basic backend (Node.js) is advantageous.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience/portfolio)

Pay: ₹10,196.64 - ₹30,000.50 per month
