Job Summary

We are looking for a Sales & Service Engineer to handle both technical service activities and sales/business development for heavy machinery and equipment. The role involves customer visits, machine commissioning, troubleshooting, sales development, demonstrations, and after-sales support.

Key ResponsibilitiesService & Technical Support

- Conduct PDI and commissioning of new machines.
- Perform regular machine inspections and update HMR records.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
- Carry out preventive maintenance, scheduled servicing, and breakdown repairs.
- Repair, replace, and calibrate machine components.
- Provide on-site technical assistance and machine operation guidance.
- Prepare service reports, job cards, and warranty documentation.
- Record parts used, labour time, and diagnostic activities.
- Update service records through CRM/apps.
- Identify spare parts requirements and coordinate with the concerned team.

Sales & Business Development

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct market research and track customer and competitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations and technical demonstrations.
- Build relationships with contractors, builders, fleet owners, rental companies, and government institutions.




- Provide product information, pricing, and quotations.
- Handle customer queries, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales.
- Recommend suitable machines based on customer applications and site conditions.
- Coordinate machine demonstrations, trials, and technical evaluations.

Customer & After-Sales Support

- Coordinate with service, finance, and parts teams for smooth customer support.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and update CRM systems.
- Maintain regular customer follow-ups and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the service team for quick resolution of technical issues.
- Promote AMC and spare parts sales where required.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and promotional activities.

Requirements

- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, or related engineering field.
- Experience in machinery, construction equipment, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, or related industries is preferred.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and customer-handling skills.
- Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and site requirements.
- Ability to handle both sales and service responsibilities.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Pay: ₹11,913.39 - ₹42,991.11 per month
