About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial activities. The ideal candidate should have experience with project-based accounting, vendor payments, client billing, expenses, GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation, preferably in an interior design, construction, or contracting company.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts and accounting records.
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare and track client invoices, quotations, payment schedules, and outstanding receivables.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor bills, payment schedules, and outstanding payables.
- Maintain project-wise income and expense records.
- Track material purchases and coordinate with project/site teams for bill verification.
- Perform regular bank, cash, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly profit & loss statements and other management reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements in coordination with the relevant consultant/CA.
- Maintain proper documentation for invoices, bills, vouchers, receipts, and payments.
- Monitor cash flow and upcoming payment commitments.
- Assist management with project costing, budgets, and profitability analysis.
- Coordinate with the CA/auditor for taxation, audit, and compliance requirements.




- Ensure timely and accurate data entry in accounting software.
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Experience with Tally Prime / ERP / accounting software.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong reconciliation and numerical skills.
- Good understanding of accounts payable and receivable.
- Ability to maintain project-wise accounting records.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following industries will be an advantage:

- Interior design and execution
- Construction

- Furniture/manufacturing
- Project contracting

- Accuracy and timely completion of accounts.
- Timely collection of client receivables.
- Proper control of vendor payments and outstanding bills.
- Accurate project-wise cost and profitability reporting.
- Timely GST/TDS and other compliance support.
- Timely bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Proper maintenance of financial documentation.

Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent accounting qualification preferred.

Experience: 2–5 years in accounting, preferably with experience in an interior, construction, or project-based company.

Salary

₹[Amount] – ₹[Amount] per month, depending on experience and skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
