Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain broadband internet and cable TV networks.
- Troubleshoot internet, Wi-Fi, router, ONU/ONT and other network issues.
- Handle GPON/FTTH network troubleshooting and basic OLT/ONU maintenance.
- Attend customer complaints and provide technical support.
- Install, maintain and repair cable TV connections.
- Troubleshoot cable TV signal, cable, splitter, connector and set-top box-related issues.
- Perform field work for internet, cable TV and fiber network maintenance.
- Identify and repair fiber breaks, including fiber splicing, to restore services with minimum possible downtime.
- Carry out preventive and emergency maintenance of the fiber network.
- Coordinate with technicians and report major network issues.
- Maintain basic records of network equipment, fiber faults and customer complaints.
Qualification
- Any degree is acceptable.
- Technical qualification in Networking, IT,
Electronics or related fields is an added advantage.
- Freshers can apply.
- Previous experience in networking, ISP, broadband, FTTH or cable TV is an advantage but not mandatory.
Candidate Requirements
- Basic knowledge of computers and networking.
- Valuable troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to ride a two-wheeler and a valid driving licence is mandatory.
- Owning a two-wheeler is preferred.
- Willingness to perform field work, including emergency network maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
Working Conditions
- 7 days working schedule, based on operational requirements.
- Payment/salary is calculated based on attendance.
- Leave taken on scheduled working days will be treated as Loss of Pay (LOP) and deducted accordingly.
- Candidates should be willing to work on weekends and holidays when required.
