Senior Pizzaiolo

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Pizzaiolo to lead pizza production and ensure consistently high standards of food quality, preparation, presentation, and kitchen hygiene.

The ideal candidate has solid expertise in traditional and contemporary pizza-making, excellent dough-handling skills, and the ability to lead and train junior kitchen team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily pizza production and service, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, appearance, and portioning.
- Prepare, stretch, shape, top, and bake pizzas to the restaurant's specifications.
- Manage dough preparation, fermentation, proofing, and storage.
- Maintain consistent oven temperatures and control baking times.
- Ensure proper preparation and quality of sauces, cheeses, meats, vegetables, and other toppings.
- Monitor food quality and freshness throughout service.
- Coordinate closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Train, supervise,



and mentor junior pizzaioli and kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic pizza station at all times.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety standards.
- Monitor ingredient usage and minimize food waste.
- Assist with stock checks, ordering requirements, and proper storage of ingredients.
- Support menu development and contribute ideas for new pizzas and seasonal specials.
- Ensure equipment such as pizza ovens, mixers, refrigerators, and prep tools are properly maintained and used safely.
- Help maintain smooth kitchen operations during high-volume services.

Requirements

- 3–5+ years of professional pizzaiolo experience, preferably in a high-volume or premium restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of pizza dough preparation and fermentation techniques.
- Excellent hand-stretching and pizza-shaping skills.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
