ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be the dedicated HR at Cornflakes Media, owning the full people function — from hiring to onboarding, compliance to culture. You'll work directly with founders and team leads to build a workplace where talented people do their best work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Own end-to-end recruitment: job briefs, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management
- Build and maintain onboarding processes that help new hires ramp up quickly and feel genuinely welcomed
- Draft and manage employment contracts, offer letters, NDAs, and HR policy documentation
- Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws, POSH regulations, and statutory requirements (PF, PT, TDS on salary)
- Manage payroll coordination in partnership with the finance function
- Design and run performance review cycles — structured, fair, and growth-oriented
- Build and maintain an employer brand that attracts top-tier talent to a growing startup
- Own employee engagement initiatives: surveys, one-on-ones, team rituals, and culture moments
- Handle employee relations with discretion — grievances, conflicts, disciplinary matters
- Track HR metrics: headcount, attrition, time-to-hire, and engagement scores
- Proactively identify retention risks and work with leadership to address them

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 1 HR experience, ideally in a startup, tech,



or media environment
- Hands-on knowledge of Indian labour law, POSH, and statutory compliance
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment across technical and non-technical roles
- Strong written and verbal communication — you'll be drafting policies, running meetings, and sending offer letters
- Proficiency with HR tools: HRMS/ATS platforms, Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive situations with care
- Ability to work autonomously and build systems from scratch — we don't have a playbook yet, you'll write it
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field; MBA/PGDHRM is a plus
