About the Role:

As a Manager, Software Engineering, you will lead and develop a team of software engineers responsible for building and maintaining systems, platforms, and tools that support critical business operations. This role is accountable for the delivery of high-quality software solutions for both internal and external business customers.

You will partner closely with technology, product, and vendor stakeholders to define and execute technical strategies aligned with organizational goals. Success is measured by timely delivery, software quality, team performance, and the ability to scale engineering practices that support business growth and customer satisfaction.

What Youll Do:

- Manage, coach, and develop a software engineering team to deliver projects on time and within budget through effective performance management and leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in development practices, including team structure, engineering processes, tooling, security, and compliance.
- Oversee technical vendor relationships to influence roadmap decisions, system capabilities,



and alignment with technical and business requirements.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard qualified engineers to strengthen team capabilities and meet evolving project demands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment between engineering delivery, business needs, and technology strategy.
- Hands on improvements items, code reviews and technical assistance
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by business management.

What Youll Bring:

- Bachelors degree plus 5 years of related work experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of related experience.
- Educational background in Computer Science or a computer programmingrelated field.
- 47 years of experience working in an analytics and business intelligence development environment.
- Experience leading or supervising software engineering teams, including performance management and delivery accountability.
- Robust ability to balance people leadership, technical delivery, and operational priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams across mixed technology stacks (Java or C/C++) supporting mission-critical telecom billing platforms such as Samson.
- Domain knowledge of telecom billing systems (rating, charging, invoicing, financial integrations) with a focus on high availability and operational stability.
- Demonstrated success delivering incremental modernization of legacy platforms while maintaining SLA, SOX, and production reliability requirements.
- Proven ability to partner with vendors, product, and architecture teams to influence technical roadmaps and align delivery with business outcomes.
- Experience driving engineering excellence through modern DevOps practices, CI/CD, automation, code quality, security, and documentation standards in regulated environments.
