Role OverviewWe are seeking a data-driven Assistant General Manager with over 15 years ofexperience to lead product strategy, inventory optimization, and sales growth in afast-paced retail and e-commerce setting. The ideal candidate will seamlesslyintegrate fashion merchandising expertise with IT and e-commerce platforms tomaximize profitability, enhance operational efficiency, and drive customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesMerchandising & Sales Strategy* Design and execute comprehensive sales and promotional strategies, utilizingmarket segmentation to capitalize on e-commerce and retail business opportunities.* Analyze periodical sales trends, identify inventory gaps, and implement correctiveactions to sustain revenue performance.* Apply data mining, statistical modeling, and sales analytics to identify cross-sellingand upselling opportunities that maximize customer revenue.* Responsible to ensuring the top and middle funnel of ecommerce in terms ofproviding visibility and discoveribility of the right products at right time, place andprice* Implement strategic inventory management systems to reduce product aging,minimize obsolescence, and maintain optimal stock levels.* Supervise visual merchandising, website content, and system UI improvements toenhance user accessibility and SEO.* KPIs like CTR, Conversions, growth in visibility and revenue, reduction in agedinventory* Spearhead automation, system enhancements and workflow optimizations toreduce manual intervention, improve efficiency, and ensure data integrity.Quick Commerce - Fashion: Merchandising & Sales Strategy* Monitor real-time sales metrics, sell-through rates,



and stock availability to optimizeitem movement and revenue velocity.* Monitor inventory allocation, balancing stock levels across regional fulfillment hubsand local dark stores based on demand forecasting.* Analyze micro-market customer buying patterns and seasonal trends to tailorproduct assortments for localized quick commerce nodes* Devise Automated Replenishment System framework to automate and integrateentire forward as well as reverse inventory allocation to the darkstore basis salestrends, turn over rates, TAT timing etc* Strategically designing and maintaining Fashion sections within the QWIK businesspage on the app considering business requirement, events and festivals, sales andinventory and other conversion matricesContent / Catalogue - Leadership & Operations* Monitor the overall productivity across various key functions like product go liveoutput, Out QC, product reviews etc* Lead catalog automation initiatives to increase product listing speed and improveoverall data accuracy and quality assurance.Team Leadership & Operations* Manage and mentor a team of 10-12 Fashion merchandisers - set goals forindividual team members and aligning them with the organizational objectives, ledteam development programs focusing on leadership skills and performanceoptimization* Manage and mentor a team core team members of the content team and aligningindividual performance of the entire team with organizational objectives.* Spearhead system enhancements and workflow optimizations to reduce manualintervention, improve efficiency, and ensure data integrity.
