Job DescriptionLocation : Gurugram NnJobObjective: Nn To plan, supervise & deliver highest standard of physiotherapy services to patients. Maximizes a patient‘s functional independence through thorough assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation and treatment evaluation & communicate assessment and treatment outcomes with the interdisciplinary team through documentation and team meetings. NnnJob Responsibilities: N1) Continuum of Care Nn Ascertain appropriate information regarding the present problem N Assess the patients current functional status N Planning all treatment procedures N Treatment implementation N Treatment evaluation N Ensures safe and effective discharge planning for all patients Nn2)Leadership and Management Nn Participates in continuing education to update skills and knowledge in order to provide optimum level of patient care and student supervision. N Ensures implementation of departmental policies and procedures N Participates in Departmental and Organizational meetings, other meetings as required N Actively participate inteam activities N Organizes and implementin-service training sessions for staff, the physiotherapy assistant and volunteers N Teaches appropriately and supervises physiotherapy students and provide regular feedback and documentation of the clinical placement required Nn3)Information Management Nn Manages and maintains information relevant to physiotherapy services N Records accurate statistics within the last working day of each pay fortnight or as appropriate N Notes written in patient’s records according to Policy and Procedure manual within 24 hours of service N Adheres to the policiesfor use of Information Technology N Supervises the recording of statistics and documentation by the physiotherapy students N Providing home care program – discharge instructions N Documenting the patientdetails in register and entering the clinical notes in the HIS. N Communicating with Consultant regarding the progress of the patient if required. Nn4)Safe Practice and Setting Nn Adheres to safe work practices as per departmental and Health Policy and Procedures N Teaches and maintains safe patient handling practices through skills training of relevant staff and careers. N Be aware of safety/emergency procedures within the department. N Adheres to infection control policies & procedures N Organizes appropriate maintenance of Physiotherapy equipment as required N Creates and maintain a work environment which is safe for staff, patients and visitors Nn5)Improving Performance Nn Pursues actively professional development and implements quality improvement practices N Ensures continuous Quality Improvement through high quality work practices N Assists in the implementation of department quality improvement activities N Active participation inprofessional ongoing education and review of current literature N Participates in regularin-service education N Participates in regularsupervision sessions with direct clinical supervisor NnnInterested candidates to share their CVs at [email protected] N
