About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled QA/QC Lead to lead and strengthen the Quality Assurance and Quality Control function for our software products and projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual and automated testing, quality processes, defect management, team leadership, and software delivery lifecycle.

The QA/QC Lead will be responsible for ensuring that all software applications and deliverables meet defined quality, functional, performance, security, and business requirements before release and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the QA/QC team across multiple software projects and products.
- Define and implement the overall QA/QC strategy, test processes, standards, and best practices.
- Review Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), SRS, user stories, and technical documents.
- Prepare and review Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Test Data, and Test Summary Reports.
- Ensure comprehensive testing, including:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Integration Testing
- System Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support
- Performance Testing
- API Testing
- Security and Compatibility Testing
- Drive and enhance Test Automation frameworks and automation coverage.
- Monitor test execution, defect leakage, defect density, test coverage, and other quality metrics.
- Manage the complete defect life cycle and coordinate with Development, Product, Project Management, DevOps,



and Business teams for timely closure.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical production issues and quality failures.
- Establish and monitor quality gates for software releases and deployments.
- Ensure that no release is recommended without meeting defined quality and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in release planning, deployment reviews, and post-deployment validation.
- Develop and maintain QA dashboards, MIS reports, quality metrics, and management reports.
- Identify process gaps and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor, train, guide, and evaluate QA team members.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of quality and project-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to organizational processes, SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum practices, and quality standards.
- Take ownership and accountability for the overall quality of software deliverables.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong experience in Manual Testing and Test Automation.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of API Testing tools, such as Postman and REST Assured.
- Experience with defect and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, or equivalent.
- Positive understanding of SQL and Database Testing.




- Experience in testing Web Applications, Mobile Applications, APIs, and Enterprise Applications.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and release management.
- Exposure to Performance Testing tools such as JMeter or equivalent is preferred.
- Knowledge of security testing and secure software practices will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications in Software Testing/Quality Assurance such as ISTQB will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirement

- Minimum 10+ years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
- At least 5 years of experience in leading QA/QC teams.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end quality assurance for complex software applications and enterprise projects.
