About the Company Harey Krishna Cables Private Limited is the manufacturing entity behind the RHEIN brand of wires and cables. Operating three manufacturing facilities in Central India, the Company supplies LT and HT cables, house wires and allied products to state electricity utilities, EPC contractors, institutional buyers and an established dealer network. RHEIN has grown from a regional stronghold in Chhattisgarh into a nationally distributed brand, and is now investing in a dedicated field sales structure across the western and southern markets. These roles are central to that expansion. The successful candidates will build the Company's presence in their respective territories from a position of robust manufacturing capability, competitive product quality and direct access to decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Pipeline Development — Map and track upcoming infrastructure, industrial, real estate, solar and utility projects in the territory; maintain a live, dated project funnel with expected cable requirement and decision timelines.
• Specification & Approvals — Engage consultants and project design teams at the specification stage; secure inclusion of RHEIN in approved vendor lists and complete vendor registration formalities with EPC contractors, PSUs and government departments.
• Customer Engagement — Build and sustain relationships with EPC contractors, turnkey contractors, panel builders, project purchase heads, plant maintenance teams and government engineering departments.
• Tendering & Quotation — Study tender documents and BOQs; coordinate with the internal costing and technical teams to prepare compliant techno-commercial offers; track tender outcomes and competitor pricing.
• Negotiation & Closure — Negotiate price, delivery schedule,
payment terms and security instruments within approved authority; secure the purchase order and ensure clean documentation.
• Order Execution — Coordinate with the plant, planning and logistics teams on production slotting, dispatch schedules, test certificates and site delivery; act as the customer's single point of contact through execution.
• Receivables — Own collection against project orders, including retention amounts, bank guarantees and letters of credit; ensure timely release of held payments.
• Technical Support — Address customer queries on cable sizing, construction, current rating, standards conformity and test reports, drawing on factory support where required.
• Reporting — Submit accurate daily and weekly reports on site visits, meetings held, funnel movement and order status.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
• Project order booking value against target
• Number of new approvals and vendor registrations secured
• Funnel size, funnel quality and enquiry-to-order conversion ratio
• Realised price against approved floor price
• Collection performance, including release of retention and overdue amounts
• Site visit and customer meeting discipline
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; graduates in other disciplines with a strong project sales record will be considered.
• 8 – 10 years of project or institutional sales experience in cables, conductors, switchgear or allied electrical products.
• Working knowledge of LT and HT cable construction, relevant IS standards, cable sizing and current carrying capacity.
• Ability to read tender documents and BOQs and to construct a compliant techno-commercial offer.
• Existing relationships with EPC contractors, consultants and panel builders in the assigned territory.
• Comfort with approval cycles that are long, documentation-heavy and relationship-driven.
• Fluency in the regional language, Hindi and English.
