Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Real Asset Fund Accountant to join our Fund Accouting team in Mumbai. The role will be responsible for fund accounting and financial reporting activities for Real Estate / Real Asset Funds, with a solid focus on NAV calculation, financial statement preparation, property accounting, and SPV accounting.
NKey Responsibilities
nReal Asset / Real Estate Fund Accounting

- Perform end-to-end accounting activities for Real Estate / Real Asset Funds. N
- Prepare and review FundNAV calculations accurately and within defined SLAs. N
- Account for property-related transactions, including: N
- Property rental and other income recognition N
- Lease accountingn
- Property operating expenses N
- Capital expenditure N
- Accruals and prepayments N
- Other property-level accounting transactions N
- Review investment and asset valuations and ensure appropriate accounting treatment. N
- Monitor and validate income, expenses, accruals, and other fund-level transactions. N

nFinancial Reporting

- Prepare and review financial statements for Real Estate / Real Asset Funds. N
- Prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and financial reporting packs. N
- Ensure appropriate accounting treatment and accurate presentation of fund transactions. N
- Assist with audit requirements and provide supporting information and documentation to auditors and stakeholders. N
- Ensure reporting is completed within agreed timelines and quality standards. N

nSPV Accounting & Consolidation

- Perform accounting for multiple Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) held within fund structures. N
- Prepare and review SPV financial information and reconciliations. N
- Account for inter-company transactions and perform appropriate eliminations during consolidation. N
- Support consolidation of multiple SPVs into fund-level financial reporting. N
- Identify and resolve inter-company and reconciliation differences. N
