Job DescriptionPosition Summary for Tax Associate
NThe Tax Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with all
NIndian direct and indirect tax laws, with a specific emphasis on managing and documenting
Nthe tax implications of intercompany transactions under the cost-plus model. This role
Nrequires meticulous attention to detail, robust analytical skills, and a solid understanding
Nof Indian Income Tax and GST laws.
NKey Responsibilities

- Transfer Pricing (TP) Compliance: Assist in the preparation and review of transfer
Npricing documentation, including the local file and master file, in line with Indian TP
Nregulations along with Benchmarking studies

- Intercompany Transaction Analysis: Conduct functional, industry, and economic
Nanalyses, specifically focusing on the application of the Cost-Plus Method (CPM) to
Nsupport arm's length pricing for intercompany services/goods.
N
- Tax Zones: Knowledge of key Policies Tax Zones and related compliance
Naround SEZ, STPI, DTA inwards of Goods & Services;




Outwards supply of IT ⁢
NEnabled services.

- Tax Return Preparation & Filing: Prepare and assist in the timely and accurate filing
Nof all direct tax (IncomeTax) and indirect tax (GST) returns.

- Audit Support & Litigation: Support tax audits and assessments by gathering
Nnecessary financial documentation, preparing technical submissions, and
Nresponding to inquiries from tax authorities (e.G., Income Tax Department, GST
Nauthorities).

- Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all
Ntax-related documentation, financial data, and intercompany agreements to ensure
Naudit-readiness.

- Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the finance, accounting, and global tax
Nteams to ensure consistency in tax reporting and the integration of tax planning
Nstrategies.
