Job Description About the Role
N
nWe’re looking for a detail-oriented and driven Accountant with 2+ years of experience to join the Finance team at FRND.
N
nYou’ll be an important part of a rapid-growing startup’s finance function, getting hands-on exposure across accounting, reconciliations, reporting, statutory compliance, audits, and financial operations.

nWhat You’ll Do

- n
- Maintain Financial Records: Keep books of accounts accurate and up to date, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and on time. N
- Manage AP & AR: Process invoices, track payable and receivables, reconcile outstanding balances, and support timely collections and payments. N
- Handle General Ledger: Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring the ledger remains accurate and well-maintained. N
- Drive Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies. N
- Support Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management reports. N
- ⚖️ Manage Statutory Compliance: Support timely compliance related to GST, TDS, Income Tax, labour laws, and other applicable statutory requirements. N
- Support Audits: Work with internal and external auditors by providing financial records, schedules, and required documentation. N
- ✅ Ensure Compliance: Follow accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal finance policies. N
- Work on SpecialProjects: Support financial analysis, process improvement initiatives, and other ad-hoc projects as the business grows. N

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
semi-qualified CA candidates are welcome. N
- 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance. N
