NHITACHI RAIL is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Project Controller who thrives
Nin a quick-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide
Nrange of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Bangalore, India.
NAccountabilities:
NProject level responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
N In conjunction with Project Team, develop the Work Breakdown Structure and
NBudgets for the project
N Work with Work Package Leaders (WPL) to develop accurate cost to complete
Nestimates and percent complete evaluations
N Track, monitor and report planned budgets/forecast vs. actual spend using project
Ncontrolling tools (SAP, PCS and other tools). Provide variance explanations and
Npossible recovery plan actions
N Work with Project Planner to review latest schedule and quarterly report the Earned
NValue
n Monthly reporting of project results
N Assist with the preparation, processing and tracking of contract Change Orders




N Work with the project manager to assist with the preparation and tracking of
Npotential claims for additional work
N Track internal and external invoicing and reconciliation of cash receipts and
Nretention.
n Understand and report on the cash flow position of the project
N Work with global controllers for Intracompany projects
N Track subcontractor invoicing, payments and reconciliations
N Review and approve Purchase Order Requisitions in alignment with budget and
Ntrack P.O.S in PCS.
n Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budget and reporting of the key performance
Nindicators for the project
N Monitor the financial "health" of the project and raise the "red flag" when a negative
Nimpact or condition arises.
N Calculate EVA at global level in accordance with group controlling mode
N Resolve of queries from global reporting on actual, variance to budget, workload,
Nrisk, opportunities etc
