Position Title: Staff Engineer Software - UI developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and Experienced UI Engineerto join our Web Engineering team. This role will focus on building scalable, high-performance web applicationsthatpowerourgroceryretail platform.Youwillberesponsiblefordesigning and developing modern front-end solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative features for millions of customers.

Roles&responsibilities;:

- Design,develop,andmaintainhigh-qualitywebapplicationsusingReact, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Implementstatemanagementsolutions withReduxandintegratemiddlewaresuchas Redux-Saga or Thunk.
- Build and optimize AJAX-based data fetching and API integrations.
- Writeandmaintainunit/integrationtestsusingframeworkslikeReactTesting Library, Jest, or similar
- Collaborateclosely withProduct, UX,andBackendteamstodeliver scalableand user-centric solutions.
- Ensurehighavailability,performance,resiliency,andmodularityofWebservices and applications.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment of front-end applications.

ExperienceRequired:

- 8-12years ofprofessionalsoftware engineeringexperiencewithastrong focuson front-end development using ReactJs
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related field.




- Provenexperienceleadinglarge-scalewebapplicationsinhigh-trafficconsumer environments.
- DeepunderstandingofReact,JavaScript,CSS,HTML,andmodernfront-end architecture.
- Experience with UI testing frameworks (React Testing Library, Jest, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Redux, AJAX, and middleware (Redux-Saga, Thunk)
- Strongtechnicalacumenwiththeabilitytomakearchitecturaldecisionsandlead engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Aproblem-solverStronganalyticalandproblem-solvingskills andyoufindwaysto get things done
- Robust strategic skills.

Preferred:

- Experience in grocery, retail, or consumer-facing digital platforms.
- Familiarity with personalization, taxonomy, and product data enrichment.
- Familiarity with GitHub CoPilot and other developer productivity tools and frameworks.
- HandsondevelopmentexperienceinJavaScript/TypeScriptandmodernweb frameworks (React) is preferred.

MandatorySkillsRequired:

- JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web frameworks ( Reactjs )
- BFF architecture, Distributed systems design and microservices integration
- Redux, AJAX, and middleware (Redux-Saga, Thunk)

Additional Skills:

- Cloud Platform (Azure / GCP / AWS)
