nJOB DESCRIPTION:
nDolly J, one of India's leading fashion brands specializing in Indian haute couture is looking for a senior designer to join the growing mens and women's design teams. We are looking for someone who has had industry experience in a couture house before, and is innovative, looking to come up with fresh designs. Must understand the design process from start to finish.
nRequirements:
n· Strong hand-sketching and technical flat/spec drawing ability




n· Working knowledge of Indian embroidery and textile traditions (zardozi, resham, Parsi gara/threadwork, etc.) and how to translate them into contemporary silhouettes
n· Familiarity with garment construction, draping, and patternmaking for heavily embellished or structured couture pieces
n· Comfort working directly with karigars (artisans) and production teams to execute intricate handwork at scale
