Job DescriptionPosition Overview:
nCaldic India is seeking a high-impact Business Development qualified to drive growth for Pharma Business. This is an individual contributor role requiring a strong hunting mindset, technical understanding of Pharmaceutical ingredients, and the ability to translate customer needs into differentiated ingredient solutions.
nThe role will focus on Pharmaceutical segment, working closely with customers, Internal Sales teams, and principals to create value-driven, customized solutions.
nKey Responsibilities:
nBusiness Development & Sales

- Proactively identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with Pharmaceutical formulations manufacturers in Indian
- Drive sales for Specialty excipients, not commodity ingredientsn
- Build and manage a strong new-customer pipeline, from lead generation through commercializationn
- Own end-to-end account responsibility including prospecting, technical discussions, pricing, negotiation, and contract closuren

nTechnical & Solution Selling

- n
- Understand customer formulations,



processing challenges, and market objectives to propose tailor-made ingredient solutionsn
- Collaborate closely with customer's F&D; and R&D; teams to develop and commercialize the products from our portfolio.n
- Conduct technical sales presentations, product trials, and customer visitsn
- Act as the technical bridge between customers and internal teamsn

nMarket & Customer Insights

- Track market trends, regulatory developments, and customer innovation needs in Pharma.n
- Provide feedback to internal teams on market gaps, innovation opportunities, portfolio expansion and activities like Market/Wallet mapping, Market Share Analysis, Competitive Landscape etc.n
- Represent Caldic as a trusted solution partner, not just a suppliern
