About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Swansea University as a Research Technician supporting the Welsh Cockle Flesh Analysis Study, a Welsh Government-funded project investigating seasonal and spatial variation in cockle meat yield and reproductive condition across Welsh fisheries. The evidence generated will help improve understanding and management of this economically and ecologically important resource.
Based within Biosciences in the Faculty of Science and Engineering, you will play a central role in the consistent processing and analysis of cockle samples collected monthly from sites across Wales.
