We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with solid experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and API development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver high-quality APIs and microservices for one or more projects or streams of work
• Design and implement RESTful and SOAP services following best practices and coding standards
• Write clean, maintainable and scalable code
• Perform unit testing and contribute to TDD practices
• Collaborate with architects and other team members to ensure technical excellence
• Participate in code reviews and Agile development activities
• Continuously improve development processes and engineering practices
• Quickly learn and apply new technologies
• Contribute hands-on to complex technical implementations when required
Required Skills:
• 4+ years of experience building applications, APIs and microservices using Java
• Robust experience with Java backend development and Microservices Architecture
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• Experience with Spring Frameworks including Spring MVC, IoC, Spring Boot and Spring Batch
• Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA
• Experience in developing and unit testing applications
• Understanding of API design principles and integration architectures
• Experience with RESTful services using Spring or other Java technologies
• Good understanding of Agile development practices
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
Good to Have:
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
• Full-stack development experience
• Exposure to CI/CD tools, preferably Harness
• Experience with Maven/Gradle
• Experience working with SOAP services
