Responsibilities
Report on trends, marketing, brands, consumer and internet culture and emerging trends.
Write sharp, engaging, and accurate news and feature articles for digital platforms.
Track and report news developments in advertising, media, technology, etc with a critical eye.
Contribute to multimedia storytelling across video, social and newsletters.
Collaborate with editors and colleagues to shape coverage and deepen audience engagement.
Generate original story ideas, build sources and chase leads proactively.
Requirements
2–7 years of experience in general news journalism or business, marketing, or tech journalism. (Fresh, exceptional talent also welcome.)
Solid writing, reporting and research skills.
Ability to spot and explain trends in a way that resonates with business and general audiences.
Digital-first mindset with comfort in working across platforms.
A genuine interest in marketing, brands, consumer behavior and internet culture.
Familiarity with CMS tools and comfort with operational editorial tasks such as publishing, formatting and managing newsletters.
