Role Description This is a full time Design Engineer role based in Mumbai with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home. The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and reviewing engineering designs for pharmaceutical plant components and systems,



ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Day-to-day tasks include developing detailed CAD models and drawings, collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams, and supporting product design from concept through installation. The role involves coordinating with project managers and on-site teams, preparing technical documentation, and contributing to design improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability. The Design Engineer will also participate in design reviews, troubleshoot design issues, and support continuous improvement in HVAX’s project integration and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design for industrial or process-based environments.
Relevant background in Mechanical Engineering for equipment, systems, and structural design.
Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drawings and 3D modeling.
