Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Specialist is a full time, remote role responsible for improving organic search visibility and driving qualified traffic to Syntax Technologies’ digital properties. In this role, the specialist conducts keyword research, performs SEO audits, and implements on-page optimization strategies for landing pages, blog posts, and other content. The position includes monitoring web analytics, tracking key performance indicators, and preparing regular reports with insights and recommendations. The specialist collaborates with content, marketing, and technical teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into site architecture, content planning, and link-building efforts. Ongoing responsibilities also involve staying current with search engine guidelines and industry trends to continuously refine the SEO strategy.
Qualifications
Ability to perform comprehensive keyword research and map keywords to content and user intent.
Experience of atleast 3 years conducting SEO audits, identifying technical and content-related issues,



and proposing actionable fixes.
Skills in link building and off-page SEO strategies to enhance domain authority and search rankings.
Proficiency with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to measure performance and optimize campaigns.
Knowledge of on-page SEO best practices, including metadata optimization, internal linking, and content structure.
Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and website architecture as it relates to crawlability and indexing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional remote teams.
Previous experience in SEO or digital marketing; experience in education or tech industries is an advantage.
