Job Summary: We seek a commercially astute and strategically driven licensing qualified who will lead portfolio strategy, external innovation and in-licensing initiatives across biologics, biosimilars and specialty therapeutics. The role is responsible for identifying and evaluating strategic growth opportunities, driving investment and partnering decisions, executing licensing transactions, and building partnerships that enhance the organisation's long-term portfolio and commercial success across global markets.

Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio & Strategy
Define long-term portfolio strategy, identify growth opportunities and prioritise assets based on portfolio gaps and aligned with corporate objectives across therapy areas including oncology, immunology, nephrology, rare diseases, metabolic disorders and specialty therapeutics
Develop therapy-area roadmaps and investment recommendations based on market, competitive and strategic assessments.
External Innovation & Licensing
Source, evaluate and champion external innovation opportunities across biologics,



biosimilars and specialty therapeutics.
Lead licensing transactions, strategic partnerships and alliance discussions from assessment through execution.
Coordinate cross-functional discussion and alignment across R&D;, CMC, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Intellectual Property, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Supply Chain, Legal and Finance teams
Investment Evaluation & Due Diligence
Develop business cases, valuation models and commercial forecasts to support investment decisions.
Lead cross-functional due diligence and risk assessments to maximise strategic and financial returns.
Partnerships & Market Intelligence
Build strategic relationships across the global healthcare ecosystem to strengthen access to innovation.
Provide actionable market, competitive and technology insights to guide portfolio and business development strategy.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Ph.D / M.Pharm / MD / MBA, with 10-16 years
