As a Junior DevOps Engineer at SKO Systems, you will support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring systems under the guidance of senior DevOps engineers. Your primary focus will be to assist with deployments, troubleshoot build and setting issues, and improve process consistency and repeatability. This is a learning-focused role ideal for a motivated engineer seeking to build a strong foundation in cloud DevOps, automation, and infrastructure management. You will also collaborate with Data Science and ML Ops teams to support machine learning model deployment and learn to leverage AIOps platforms to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Essential Functions / Deliverables

· CI/CD Support – Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines for Android, web, and backend applications. Monitor jobs and escalate issues to senior engineers.
· Cloud Platform Assistance (Azure/AWS) – Help in provisioning and maintaining development/staging environments using cloud-native tools. Learn best practices in cloud administration.




· Build Automation & Deployment Tasks – Execute automated build and deployment scripts, monitor job status, document steps, and contribute to improving automation coverage.
· Monitoring & Logging (ELK/Prometheus) – Follow defined procedures to track system health, identify anomalies, and support incident response.
· AI-Driven Automation & AIOps – Participate in the integration and maintenance of AI/ML-powered monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems. Assist in implementing AIOps solutions for automated root cause analysis and resource optimisation.
· MLOps Support – Collaborate with Data Science/MLOps teams to help automate deployment and monitoring of machine learning models.
· Troubleshooting & Ticket Resolution – Handle first-level technical issues, including build failures, environment connectivity issues, and deployment rollbacks under supervision.
