We currently have 15 full-time permanent India Associates and are actively growing the team.

Role-Specific Duties

Preparing complex individual (1040) and business entity (1120S, 1065, 1120) tax returns.
Preparing tax plans and projections alongside payroll plans.
Delivering tax returns, tax plans, and payroll plans to clients, and signing tax returns on a per-client basis as directed by your Pod leader.
Assisting the Client Manager in handling year-round advisory engagements, plus tax-only engagements (TOEs).
Discussing tax strategies to reduce taxes and reviewing capitalization, participation and risk.
Calculating salary and tax projections, entering shareholder payroll, and reviewing those numbers with clients.




Resolving federal and state tax notices and other client issues.
Researching complex or unusual tax questions, stress-testing with AI tools and drafting memos and conclusions.
Handling the tax onboarding process for current clients and making sure the start is solid.
Participating in prospect Discovery Meetings and other business development work alongside the Biz Dev team.

Applicants Must

Hold an active CPA, EA or CA license. This is a client-facing tax role and the credential matters.
Bring 3 to 5 years or more of complex tax return preparation in a public accounting environment, with real comfort across individual (1040) and business entity (1120S, 1065, 1120) tax returns.
Communicate clearly and confidently with clients, whether delivering a tax return, walking through a tax plan, or working a notice to resolution.
