Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader – Purchase to manage procurement activities, vendor development, negotiations, and timely availability of materials required for smooth business and production operations.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the Purchase team and monitor daily procurement activities.
Plan and execute procurement based on production requirements, inventory levels, and business needs.
Ensure timely preparation and release of Purchase Orders (POs) and regular vendor follow-up.
Identify, evaluate, develop, and maintain reliable suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, quality, and delivery schedules with vendors.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, shortages, delays, and delivery.
Develop and maintain robust relationships with key suppliers.
Monitor purchase costs, procurement KPIs, and opportunities for cost reduction.




Allocate work within the Purchase team and monitor individual performance.
Train, guide, and mentor Purchase Executives.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Accounts, and other departments for timely material availability.
Maintain proper purchase records, documentation, and ERP updates.
Ensure compliance with company procurement processes and policies.

Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred) will be an advantage.
Experience
3–8 years of experience in Procurement/Purchase, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum 1 year of team leadership/supervisory experience.
Experience in Industrial Products, Hoses, Rubber Products, Hydraulics, or Engineering Components will be preferred.
