Role Description The Assistant Sound Editor will support the audio team in preparing, organizing, and editing sound elements for film, television, digital content, and advertising projects. This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai involves tasks such as cleaning and organizing dialogue tracks, aligning and syncing audio to picture, preparing sound effects and room tones, and assisting with session setup in digital audio workstations.



The role includes collaborating with sound designers and mix engineers, managing file naming and project archiving, and performing quality checks to ensure audio consistency across deliverables. The Assistant Sound Editor will also help with basic sound design tasks, stems preparation, and exporting final mixes and deliverables according to technical specifications.
Qualifications
Strong foundational skills in audio editing and sound design using industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Reaper, Logic Pro).
Ability to organize, clean, and prepare dialogue, effects, and ambience tracks for mix sessions.
Understanding of audio formats, codecs, sample rates, and basic mastering concepts for different delivery platforms.
Attention to detail in file management, session organization, naming conventions, and project archiving.
Basic knowledge of video workflows, including syncing audio to picture, handling timecodes, and
