Role Description The Area Officer – Farm Development (Mithra) is a full-time, on-site role based in Shirur Kasar, focused on supporting and developing organic dairy farms within the Akshayakalpa ecosystem.



The role involves working closely with farmers to guide them on best practices in organic dairy farming, herd management, and sustainable farm operations. The Area Officer will monitor farm performance, help implement farm development plans, and ensure adherence to Akshayakalpa’s quality and ethical standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting field visits, collecting and analyzing farm data, coordinating training sessions, and supporting farmers in improving productivity, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability. The role also requires regular collaboration with internal teams to align farm activities with organizational goals and to support the growth of farmer entrepreneurship initiatives.
