Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced UFT Automation Tester with strong hands-on expertise in OpenText UFT / UFT One (formerly HP QTP) and VBScript. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automation scripts and frameworks.

Required Skills
Robust hands-on experience with OpenText UFT / UFT One.
Excellent knowledge of VBScript programming and automation framework development.
Experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
Hands-on experience automating Web, Desktop, Mainframe, SAP, and API applications using UFT.
Strong understanding of Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Integration Testing.
Experience with Object Repository, Descriptive Programming, Recovery Scenarios,



and Shared Object Repository.
Hands-on experience with ALM / Quality Center integration.
Experience with Data-driven and Keyword-driven automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of defect management and testing lifecycle.
Ability to create, execute, troubleshoot, and maintain automated test scripts.

Preferred Skills
API testing experience using Postman or UFT API Testing.
Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
Knowledge of Git/version control.
Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, or other automation tools.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Java, or PowerShell.
