About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing QA team. In this role, you will help ensure the quality, functionality, and stability of our core customer-facing and backend systems. Your contributions will support the reliability and performance of our platform, which serves a broad user base across Southeast Asia.
The ideal candidate is analytical, thorough, and committed to maintaining high quality standards through effective manual testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end manual testing efforts for Direct Platform & Apps across mobile (iOS, Android) and web platforms/backend services.
Design, write, and execute comprehensive test cases, checklist, and exploratory tests across web and mobile platforms on product requirements and user flows.
Perform regression, integration, exploratory, and UI/UX testing across multiple browsers and devices.
Log detailed and reproducible bugs using tools like JIRA
Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and PMs during sprint planning and daily standups
Perform basic API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Validate API responses and backend data to ensure functional consistency.
Contribute to continuous process improvements in QA and test documentation
Must-Have Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in manual software testing.
Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies
Familiarity with testing web and mobile apps (preferably in travel, hospitality, or e-commerce).
Experience using bug tracking tools like JIRA
Ability to write clear and detailed bug reports and test cases.
Experience with basic API testing tools (like Postman) is an advantage
Ability to use SQL for validating backend data.
Robust attention to detail and analytical skills
Knowledge of hospitality or travel-tech platforms is a plus
