Job Description:

The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, analysing, and overseeing the construction of various structural systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver protected and efficient structural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Analysis: - Develop detailed structural designs for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects. - Perform structural analysis using engineering software and manual calculations to ensure compliance with safety and design standards. - Create and review structural drawings, specifications, and design reports.

2. Project Management: - Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other professionals to integrate structural designs with overall project plans. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously,



ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints. - Coordinate with contractors during construction to resolve design issues and ensure the structural integrity of the project.

3. Compliance and Quality Assurance: - Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., local building codes, international standards). - Conduct site inspections to verify that construction is proceeding according to design specifications and standards. - Perform quality assurance checks on completed designs and construction work.

4. Innovation and Improvement: - Stay updated with advancements in structural engineering techniques, materials, and technologies. - Propose innovative solutions to improve the efficiency, sustainability, and cost effectiveness of structural designs. - Contribute to the development and improvement of internal design processes and methodologies.
