Role Description This is a full-time, in office Pharmacist role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Pharmacist will be responsible for accurately dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include counseling patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, and interactions,



and maintaining detailed and accurate pharmacy records. The role involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions, optimize medication therapies, and support patient care plans. The Pharmacist will also monitor inventory, manage stock levels, check expiry dates, and uphold strict standards of hygiene, safety, and quality within the pharmacy.
Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacist with a valid registration from the appropriate pharmacy council and a degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or M.Pharm).
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and current pharmaceutical guidelines.
Experience in prescription verification, medication dispensing, and patient counseling in a clinical or retail pharmacy setting.
Familiarity with pharmacy management systems, electronic health records, and basic computer proficiency.
