Role Description The Business Development (Property Portal) role at One Million SqFt is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves identifying and onboarding property owners, real estate agents, and developers to the portal, as well as nurturing long-term relationships with key partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating leads, conducting market and competitor research, presenting the portal’s offerings, and negotiating win-win commercial terms. The role also requires regular follow-ups, responding to partner inquiries, coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth listing and onboarding processes, and tracking performance against sales and growth targets. The individual will be expected to maintain detailed records in CRM tools and share feedback to improve portal features and services.

Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects, manage relationships, and address partner needs professionally.
Candidates should possess proven Lead Generation capabilities to identify, qualify, and convert potential property partners and advertisers.
Relevant experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within real estate, property portals, or related digital platforms.
Comfort working with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic data reporting to track pipelines and outcomes.
Robust negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work toward defined targets.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage field visits when required, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
