Location: Kolkata (100% work from office)
Duration: 12 months as per Apprentice Act
Stipend: INR 12.3k per month (50% by us and 50% by Govt)

The candidate should be a law graduate with solid drafting, written and verbal communication skills, along with basic proficiency in computer applications.

Litigation and Legal Notices
Assist in maintaining and updating records of all litigation matters filed by or against the company across various jurisdictions.
Support the legal team in tracking case status, hearing dates, orders, and developments in ongoing litigation.
Maintain a database containing details of legal notices filed by and against the Company.
Assist in preparing case summaries, fact sheets and briefing notes for legal proceedings.
Draft responses to legal notices and other correspondence under the supervision of the Legal Team.
Assist in preparing standard legal templates, including show-cause notices, warning letters, and other legal communications required by departments .
Support the preparation, review, and filing of legal documents, affidavits, replies,



and representations as required.
Contract Drafting and Review
Assist in preparing, reviewing and vetting different contracts, agreements, MoUs, NDAs, purchase orders, and other commercial documents.
Conduct preliminary legal reviews to identify contractual, regulatory, and commercial risks.
Support the legal team in ensuring adequate contractual safeguards, obligations, indemnities, limitation of liability provisions, and compliance requirements.
Maintain a database of executed contracts and repository to monitor contractual obligations, renewals, and timelines.
Coordinate with business units to gather information and supporting documents required for drafting agreements.
Compliance and Regulatory Support
Assist in monitoring compliance with applicable corporate, commercial, labour, and regulatory requirements.
