About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to manage and expand our business operations across Assam & Meghalaya. The person will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing dealer/distributor networks, managing key customers, and strengthening the company's presence in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, hospitals, healthcare institutions, and other key customers.
Identify and develop current business opportunities across Assam & Meghalaya.
Appoint, manage, and support channel partners to expand market reach.
Conduct regular market visits and monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Generate leads,
follow up on enquiries, and convert opportunities into sales.
Coordinate with distributors and internal teams to ensure timely order execution and customer support.
Ensure proper product presentations and demonstrations to customers whenever required.
Maintain accurate records of sales, enquiries, customer visits, and market activities.
Collect market feedback and communicate customer requirements to the management.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers/channel partners.
Participate in exhibitions, conferences, product launches, and other promotional activities.
Travel extensively within the assigned territory as required.
Candidate Profile
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing will be an advantage.
Experience: 5–7 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in medical devices, healthcare, diagnostics, pharma, or a related industry.
