Role Description The Assistant Manager Business Development role is a full time, on-site position based in Chakan. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing and potential automotive customers, and supporting the development of strategic sales plans. Daily tasks include market research, preparing and presenting proposals, coordinating with internal teams on pricing and delivery terms, and tracking sales performance and customer feedback.



The Assistant Manager Business Development will also assist in contract negotiations, participate in customer meetings and industry events, and ensure timely reporting to senior management on business development activities.
Qualifications
Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation.
Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning within manufacturing or automotive sectors.
Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with production, quality, and logistics teams to align customer requirements with operational capabilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in creating proposals, reports, and customer-facing documentation.
Relevant experience in plastic injection moulding or automotive components industry is highly beneficial.
