Responsibilities
Build and manage solid relationships with domestic and international investment banks, advisors, global funds, restructuring desks, and other intermediaries to source proprietary and semi-proprietary deal opportunities globally.
Identify and evaluate potential acquisitions (including greenfield projects), special situations, stressed/distressed assets, and financial restructuring opportunities across ports, logistics, transportation, and allied infrastructure sectors globally.
Lead end-to-end deal structuring, including financial structuring (debt and equity) and tax structuring.
Work closely with internal teams including Strategy, Treasury, Legal, Tax, and Operations to ensure seamless deal execution.
Manage cross-border due diligence, negotiations, transaction documentation, regulatory approvals, and deal closures with international stakeholders.
Prepare investment notes, valuation models,
and Board/Investment Committee presentations.
Track global sector trends, capital flows, and restructuring opportunities relevant to the organization’s growth agenda.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of M&A;, corporate finance, valuation, and transaction execution.
Expertise in financial modeling, investment analysis, and deal structuring.
Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical, and presentation skills.
Experience in managing cross-border transactions and complex deal processes.
Qualifications
CA or equivalent qualification from a reputed institution.
Relevant experience in M&A;, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Infrastructure Investments, Private Equity, or Transaction Advisory.
