JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst to join our growing team in Kolkata. This is an excellent prospect for a finance graduate or early-career professional to build a strong foundation in Private Equity and M&A; deal execution, working on live transactions and client mandates.

The primary responsibilities of an Investment Banking Analyst will be to:
Support end-to-end execution of transactions
Assist in M&A; deal origination, due diligence, deal structuring, and transaction execution
Prepare pitch books, information memorandum, financial models, and valuation analyses (DCF, comparable company analysis,



precedent transactions)
Conduct in-depth industry research, sector mapping, and company profiling to support client presentations and deal teams
Coordinate with legal, compliance, and regulatory teams during transaction processes
Monitor market developments, capital market trends, private equity & VC Deals, and M&A; activity to generate actionable insights
Maintain deal trackers, data rooms, and internal databases with accuracy and timeliness

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
CFA (Cleared) or MBA / PGDM in Finance from a reputed institution, or CA
Minimum 5 years experience in IB

Skills & Competencies:
Solid understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and capital markets
Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with sharp attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-dr
