We are looking for a skilled and technically experienced service engineer/technician to join our team for the repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of fibre optic fusion splicing machines.

The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing fusion splicing machines used in fiber optic and FTTH network installations. This role requires strong practical knowledge of electronics, electrical troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair fibre optic fusion splicing machines.
- Troubleshoot motherboard, power supply, charging, battery, display, heating, motor, and other hardware-related issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and servicing of fusion splicing equipment.
- Identify faulty electronic components and perform component-level troubleshooting where required.
- Handle soldering, PCB inspection, testing, and basic electronic repairs.
- Troubleshoot machine power-on, charging, calibration, alignment, and operational issues.
- Replace electrodes and other consumable or damaged components.




- Perform testing and quality checks after repair.
- Maintain proper service records and provide technical feedback.
- Support customers and field technicians with technical troubleshooting when required.

Required Skills
- Diploma / ITI / relevant technical qualification in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Practical experience in electronics troubleshooting and repair.
- Knowledge of PCB, SMPS, batteries, DC power circuits, soldering, and electronic components.
- Experience with fiber optic fusion splicing machines will be highly preferred.
- Ability to use a multimeter, DC power supply, soldering station, and other electronic testing equipment.
- Positive problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle technical issues efficiently.
