Urgent opening for PostgreSQL DBA with EASY LOGIC IT PVT LTD.

Experience:5+ years(L3)
Job Location: Mumbai (WFO)

Key Responsibilities: PostgreSQL DBA (Level 3)

Provide L3 production support for PostgreSQL databases.
Handle complex database incidents, problem management, and RCA.
PostgreSQL installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
Expertise in HA/DR solutions such as Streaming Replication, Patroni, and PostgreSQL clusters.
Manage backup & recovery, including PITR and disaster recovery activities.
Performance tuning: SQL/query optimization, indexing, execution plans, vacuum/analyze, and database parameters.
Troubleshoot replication lag, database locks, deadlocks, connection issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Handle PostgreSQL version upgrades and migration activities.
Capacity planning, database growth analysis, and storage management.
Security: roles, privileges, authentication, SSL/TLS, and auditing.
Automation using Shell scripting / Python / Ansible is preferred.




Experience with monitoring tools and alert troubleshooting.
Participate in DR drills, production deployments, and 24×7 on-call support.
Coordinate with application, infrastructure, cloud, and vendor teams for critical issues.
Prepare and maintain SOPs, RCA, KT documents, and operational procedures.
