We are looking for SAP Basis candidates (At least 6 to 12 months of experience).

Job Location - Pune
Work Type - Onsite

Key skills required:
✔ Basic knowledge of Windows & Linux OS
✔ Basic knowledge of Hardware (Server, Storage, etc)
✔ Basic knowledge of networking & virtualization
✔ Basic awareness of databases – MS SQL, Oracle, SAP HANA, Sybase, MaxDB, DB2
✔ Basic understanding of SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Public Cloud
✔ Basic understanding of SAP Implementation, SAP Upgrade, SAP Migration, & SAP Conversion.

Responsibilities include:
§ Monitor and report infrastructure health, capacity, and incidents; escalate per SLAs.
§ Maintain accurate documentation: system configurations, runbooks, asset inventories, and change logs.
§ Follow ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management and participate in on-call rotation when required.

Windows & Linux responsibilities
§ Perform routine OS tasks: installation, patching, user and group management, service management, and scheduled jobs.




§ Troubleshoot basic OS issues (boot, drivers, service failures, permission errors) and coordinate escalation to L2/L3 when needed.
§ Implement and verify backups for OS-level files and system state; test restores periodically.

Hardware (server, storage) responsibilities
§ Deploy and commission physical servers and storage: rack/cable, firmware/BIOS/iLO/iDRAC updates, RAID configuration, and basic hardware diagnostics.
§ Monitor hardware health (temperature, power, SMART, RAID) and open/coordinate vendor hardware support/parts replacement for failures.
§ Assist with capacity planning and inventory management for servers and storage arrays.

Networking & virtualization responsibilities
§ Configure and verify basic networking settings: IP addressing, VLAN tagging, routing checks, and connectivity troubleshooting (ping, traceroute).
