Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating on a broad range of complex global and domestic commercial contracts/transactions across a range of business including digital/IT contracts, financing and leasing agreements, loan documentation, procurement contracts etc.
Provide strategic legal counsel to senior leadership and business units on transactional matters, risk assessment, and commercial decision-making.
Manage and coordinate complex transactions from inception to closing, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders across departments, including procurement, finance, operations, and commercial teams.
Support business on new business initiatives keeping in view the legal and regulatory requirements and business needs.
Occasionally work with external lawyers for procuring opinions and/or for obtaining advice on transactions
Good understanding of legal and regulatory landscape and continuous upkeep with changes in law which are relevant to the organization.
Qualification
Law degree (LL.B. / LL.M.) from a reputed university
10–12 years of post-qualification experience in transactional law, with significant experience at a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal department.
Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts across multiple transaction types.
Robust business acumen with the ability to understand commercial objectives and translate them into practical legal solutions.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal audiences.
