About JobsUPI

JobsUPI is building India’s most trusted and accessible employment platform, connecting skilled blue-collar workers with real job opportunities across manufacturing, electrical work, machine operations, logistics, field services and other similar industries/roles.

We aspire anyone to get a job within 30 minutes, essentially building the quick commerce layer for jobs across India.

This internship is designed for students who enjoy solving ambiguous business problems through structured thinking and research.

The Problem Statement

India's employment ecosystem is highly fragmented, with hundreds of staffing companies, HRTech platforms, government initiatives and local workforce networks operating across different regions.



JobsUPI want to understand and build a framework answering why some villages consistently have workers migrating for employment while others don't, which regions have a robust workforce supply, and how crops, seasons and migration patterns affect workforce availability.

Key Responsibilities
Research labour migration and workforce availability across villages and blocks.
Conduct structured calls with Pradhans, teachers, shopkeepers, migrant families and other local stakeholders.
Collect and organise primary and secondary research into structured datasets.
Analyse the data to identify patterns and insights.
Document findings and share recommendations.

Comfortable making calls and speaking to people.
Ability to organise information and identify patterns.
Interest in research, strategy or data analysis.
Ability to commit for the full project duration.
