Senior Payroll & Accounting Specialist – ADP & QuickBooks
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll & Accounting Specialist with 8+ years of hands-on experience in payroll processing, accounting operations, and financial administration. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in ADP and QuickBooks, with a proven ability to manage payroll, maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and support day-to-day accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities
Process and manage end-to-end payroll using ADP for employees on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis.
Maintain accurate employee payroll records, deductions, advantages, taxes, and other payroll-related information.
Handle payroll tax filings, reporting, and compliance requirements.
Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Record, classify, and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks.
Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.




Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Generate financial and payroll reports for management.
Monitor invoices, payments, expenses, and outstanding receivables.
Assist with audits and provide required financial documentation.
Maintain organized and accurate accounting and payroll records.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable payroll regulations.
Work closely with HR, Finance, and management teams to resolve payroll and accounting issues.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in payroll, accounting, or finance operations.
Strong hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems.
Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
Good understanding of payroll processing, payroll taxes, deductions, and benefits.
Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formu
