Position Overview: The Reviews/Retainer Specialist supports payroll compliance reviews, amendments, and advisory services.

- Review client documentation for accuracy

- Format and organize deliverables
/n
- Perform compliance reviews
/n
- Complete retro pay calculations
/n
- Prepare IRS and state amendments
/n
- Draft response letters for notices
/n
- Review and analyze tax notices
/n
- Conduct payroll tax research
/n
- Document findings and recommendations
/n
- Process state tax payments
/n
- Manage client ShareFile folders
/n

Additional skills set, Qualification and Experience:

/n
- Qualifications - graduate degrees in B.Com or MBA
/n
- FPC or CPP certification
/n




- Robust payroll and payroll tax knowledge
/n
- Experience researching payroll tax law
/n
- Experience with amendments
/n
- Experience with Compliance Reviews
/n
- Strong attention to details & analytical skills
/n
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word and a basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
/n
- Experience in a professional services work environment.
/n
- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively while balancing many projects simultaneously.
/n
- Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines with good attention to detail.
