WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will join Nike's Global Technology organization as part of the Communications Technology squad within the Digital Employee Experience (DEE) engineering team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work closely with a team of engineers, collaborating with senior and principal engineers who will support your growth and development. You will also engage with the team's Product Manager and partner with other Global Technology teams on organizational and technical objectives. DEE supports Comms, Sensing, the Department of Nike Archives, Legal, Resilience, Security, Global Places and Services, and more.

We are looking for a Software Engineer 1 to join the Global Technology Corporate Functions (CF) Digital Employee Experience (DEE) team. You are an engineer with hands-on professional experience who is ready to contribute from day one and continue growing your craft alongside a high-performing team. You are dependable, detail-oriented,



and comfortable working within defined scope while developing the skills and confidence to take on increasingly complex work over time. The person in this role will be a collaborative team player with solid technical fundamentals, strong problem-solving skills, and a genuine passion for building reliable, quality software.
Positive attitude, growth mindset, and strong technical and non-technical communication skills are a must-have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
1-3 years of qualified software development experience
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and working experience with front-end frameworks such as React
Experience building or consuming REST APIs and developing back-end services, preferably in Node.js
Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB
Experience with version control using Git and GitHub in a team environment
