Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Purpose of the role:
To support planning, execution, commissioning, operation and maintenance of centralized electrical utilities and infrastructure for a Greenfield Automotive Manufacturing Plant, ensuring safe, reliable and energy-effective power distribution across Press Shop, Body Shop, Paint Shop, TCF, Aggregates, Warehouse and Common Facilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Greenfield Project Phase:

Support planning, execution and monitoring of Common Electrical Infrastructure activities including substations, HT/LT distribution systems, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, synchronization panels, PCC/MCC panels, cable laying, street lighting and utility power distribution networks.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, equipment suppliers and internal stakeholders for utility load planning, installation, testing and commissioning activities to ensure infrastructure readiness for Start of Production (SOP).
Support implementation and integration of SCADA, EMS (Energy Management Systems),



energy metering systems and other electrical monitoring solutions across the plant infrastructure.
Ensure adherence to approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, statutory requirements, electrical standards and safety guidelines during execution and commissioning activities.

Operations & Facility Management Phase

Support preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of substations, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, switchgear, PCC/MCC panels, street lighting and power distribution systems to ensure uninterrupted utility availability.
Monitor energy consumption, power quality and equipment health parameters, and support energy conservation, reliability improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Coordinate AMC vendors, contractors and service providers, monitor work execution and ensure compliance with quality, safety and delivery requirements.
Maintain electrical asset records, statutory inspection reports
