Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a Snowflake & Python Data Engineer to build and support scalable data solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. The role will develop data pipelines, integrate multiple data sources, automate workflows, and support analytics and reporting.
The successful candidate will work with Snowflake, Python, SQL, relational databases, and AWS to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient data solutions in collaboration with distributed Agile teams.
Software Requirements
Required
5+ years of experience integrating data between cloud and on-premises databases.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and Python 3.x.
Strong SQL and relational database experience.
Experience integrating multiple data sources using Python.
Strong Python programming and shell scripting skills.
Working knowledge of AWS services, particularly S3 and EC2.
Experience with Git, testing, code reviews, and Agile delivery.
Experience working with distributed teams.
Robust written and verbal communication, organization, and analytical skills.
Preferred




Experience with Django, Flask, or Python ORM libraries.
Experience with data orchestration, CI/CD, monitoring, or infrastructure-as-code tools.
Knowledge of ledger, sub-ledger, transaction, or reconciliation processes.
Snowflake or AWS certification.
Overall Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and support Snowflake data pipelines.
Build Python-based integrations and automation for cloud, on-premises, database, file, and API sources.
Develop efficient SQL queries, transformations, data models, and reporting structures.
Implement data validation, reconciliation, error handling, monitoring, and recovery processes.
Troubleshoot data quality, performance, and production issues.
Collaborate with engineering, analytics, architecture, security, and business teams.
Participate in Agile planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
